Hello AM, Here are some remarks: You can create and use a company for each business unit or allow multiple business units per legal entity. This is a standard functionality. The next thing you can do is organizing the business units in the form of an organizational tree in the OrgAdmin module. For your purposes you would have to create a 'security' purpose related hierarchy. Here is an example where the 'budgeting departments' are arranged with this purpose. (In your case this would be your business units) then you can open your user and identify the roles assigned. In the role assignment part you can find a button that allows you to specify the access to the system based on the security hierarchy (in my case budgeting department - in your case business units) Here is the example from my demo machine In AX2012 things are identical to d365Fo from where I made my screenprints.
