We have made inventory conversion of one item in the inventory. We made the conversation from Cartoons to Tubes i,e 1 cartoon contains 24 tubes. We wanted to issue this item in tubes. The BOM was in tubes . At the time of creation of item we have made inventory unit, purchase unit and sales unit in cartoon. At the time of production , we have issued this item thinking that it will be issued in tubes but when we checked it is issued in Cartoons. The same production is ended also. Now when we are checking the cost of item it more due to this tiem.
Question no 1. Can we re open the production order
Question no 2. Can we returned the material and re issue in Tube.
Question no 3. At the time of inventory conversation What care we should take.
What is the best solution to correct our production cost?
Please guide.
